Heather has been teaching History and French at the high school level since 2001. She holds Additional Qualifications in Politics, E-Learning and Integrating Information Technology in the Classroom. Heather has always been interested in educational technology and blending technology into her classes.
Shadi Yazdan
Shadi Yazdan is a visionary educator, lifelong learner, and an advocate of OpenSource in education. She is currently teaching intermediate grade level with York Region District School Board. Her class primarily uses Linux OS (Ubuntu) and other Operating Systems available. Her students use technology almost daily in their learning. From Google Apps for Education to Edmodo to many other Web2.0 tools, Shadi and her students are always seeking to find the next OpenSource online tool to support them in their learning.
